30 July to 3 August – A Week of Peculiar Occurrences at Wells House 

Witness Wells as it becomes enchanted with numerous spells to bring you a wizarding experience like no other.

1 August – Gorey Photographic Club Annual Exhibition 

The Photographic Club has been in operation for the past ten years in Gorey with a membership of 20 people. The Club meet every second Thursday in the Loch Garman Arms Hotel at 8pm and new members are always welcome at all levels of photography.

Annual exhibition will be held in the Gorey Library during the month of August.

1 August – Texaco Children’s Art Exhibition 2019

The main aim of the run is to get outside and have some healthy fun and exercise and all of this to the backdrop of the stunning Wexford coastline! Tickets on the day are €20 so book now for early bird rates.

27 July – 5 August – Art in the Open Festival 2019

Art in the Open – Ireland’s International Plein Air Painting Festival across the county, various dates & locations.

19 July – 9 August – Lonely Cloud: International Photography Exhibition by George Muncey 

The exhibition opened on 19 July and continues until Friday, 9 August in Gorey School of Art.

1 August – Wells’ Magic Academy 

Join us on the day as we take you and your mini witches and wizards in training on a mystical interactive journey – full of enchantment, magic and maybe even a little bit of fun! But watch the steps..they have a habit of moving!

1 August – Opening of the Pavilion

Entertainment at the Pavilion followed by the Circe Pavilion official launch, 1st August at 6 p.m.

1-4 August – Ideologies Exhibition

The exhibition seeks to evaluate the thought patterns and systems that construct our communities from the political ideals of Governments, to gender roles or even reasons behind artistic output.

Every Tuesday & Thursday throughout August – Don’t Dress for Dinner

A hilarious comedy for the entire family at Gorey Little Theatre throughout August.

3 August – Tom Doyle Memorial March

Tom Doyle Memorial Mass Band March will take place on the August bank holiday weekend on Saturday the 3rd starting at 3pm at Gorey Hospital.

9, 10 & 11 August – The Gap Arts Festival 2019

There are various events to mark this year’s festival including musical performances, outdoor cinema and free drop-in workshops. Visit www.gapartsfestival.com for more information on the events coming up.

9-11 August – Summer Latin Festival

‘Summer Latin Festival’ in the beautiful Upton Court Hotel, Kilmuckridge, Co. Wexford.

17-25 August – National Heritage Week
