Daulten Quaile Genealogy was established at The Lennon Centre, Gorey, in 2002, by Bernie Walsh, professional genealogist and tutor.

Bernie has been involved in genealogy in many guises, working with clients for genealogy roadshows, assisting with Gathering 2013, assisting with Ireland Reaching Out programme, adult education courses in Family History, Heritage in Schools programme and diversity programmes in Carlow and Wexford.

Our Services

DAULTEN QUAILE GENEALOGY offers clients a family history research service in Ireland. We specialise in Church of Ireland register research, this is not readily available online so has to be carried out at the library in Dublin.

DAULTEN QUAILE GENEALOGY has access to Catholic records, census records, land registers Matrimonial settlements, memorials, deeds, prison records, transportation registers.

DAULTEN QUAILE GENEALOGY visits various repositories in Dublin on a regular basis, and can take clients to these repositories which can be quite daunting at first but, with a guide, a client can enjoy their first visit and even may find something interesting about their family.

Ancestral Tours and Accommodation

DAULTEN QUAILE GENEALOGY also offers clients a chance to stay for a weekend with the resident genealogist at THE LENNON CENTRE, in a two-bedroomed apartment over the centre, which gives them a Wexford base, and a chance to spend time with Bernie Walsh.

Bernie Walsh will organise ancestral tours of Wexford, Carlow and Wicklow, to allow clients to walk the paths of their ancestors.  This service is available all year round, but booking is essential as it is a very popular service. It is highly recommended to contact us 6 to 12 months in advance so we can organise this tour.

Additional Services

DAULTEN QUAILE GENEALOGY provides lecturers on family history research both at the Lennon Centre, or at your own venue, ICA meeting, Active Retirement meeting or school event.
