ChairFX Chair Covers was born out of necessity in 2017. Kym and her sister had perfectly good faux leather dining chairs which they didn’t want to throw out. However they couldn’t find an Irish shop that sold chair covers. Like many of the best business ideas, they set about designing their own.

Over the years, the range has expanded from just three chair covers in one size to over 180 different dining chair cover designs, sofa covers, tub chair covers, kitchen seat covers and last year saw the very successful introduction of sofa cushion covers which are primarily used to cover the seating areas in mobile homes, caravans, camper vans and outdoor furniture. They also have a range of chair accessories including their nifty innovation of game changing chair clips and chair bands.

The shop in Gorey is open 6 days a week, where customers can purchase in store and if they can’t get to the store, Kym is always online on their Facebook page and available via WhatsApp to provide help and advice for those who wish to order for delivery.

ChairFX Chair Covers is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Kym and John McGrath. Both have had varied careers before returning to Ireland in 2016. John had work as the Head of Commercial Affairs in the music industry in London and Kym worked in Product Development in console and mobile phone games.
