Whelan’s Independent Family Pharmacy has been looking after the people of Gorey since 2013 and is located on St. Michael’s Road, across from O’Doherty’s Medical Centre.

Our staff (pharmacists: Ed Whelan & Muireann Redmond, technicians: Aideen Hall & Carmel Timmons, trainee technicians: Sarah Timmons & Anne Foley and shop floor manager Libby Roche) pride themselves on the level of service and advice they provide to all of their valued customers.

“We encourage anyone who pays for their medicines to check out our low prescription costs,” advises owner Ed Whelan. “Many assume that medicine prices are the same across all pharmacies, but this is not the case.”

Additional services that Whelan’s Pharmacy provide include free delivery of medicines, free blister packing of medicines, flu vaccination and a free consultation service with either Ed or Muireann at a time that suits you.
