We will begin the evening with an educational talk, discussing our work at Seal Rescue Ireland, providing information on our native seal species, their ecology, biology, the threats they face in Irish waters, our conservation work and how everyone can help. We will then take our guests on a guided tour of our centre, and offer people the opportunity to observe our patients in our rehabilitation kennels and the pools. We will be talking about each of the seals rescue stories as well as telling the story of their namesakes-our rescued seal pups are named after Irish Myths and Legends this year. For the second half of the experience we will have a storytelling session focused on some of Irelands earliest mythological tales in which seals feature. We hope to offer guests a special experience learning about one of our iconic native species and delving into our marine folklore, heritage and culture.
