Seal Rescue Ireland are delighted to host a screening at Gorey Cinema of Cartoon Saloon’s beautiful film ‘Song of the Sea’, inspired by the mythological Selkies of Irish folklore.
The event will begin at 6pm, where Seal Rescue Ireland will greet you at our stall, so you can gain insight into the work that we do and to learn why it is so important to protect Seals and the marine environment. We will then begin the movie which has a running time of 94 minutes. Song of the Sea is a beautiful movie, enjoyable for all audiences, combining Irish folklore and Ireland’s love for our native seals, the apex predator of the sea.
