Join Suantrai Female Vocal Ensemble for a cultural journey through music & song. Be transported to medieval times, the Norwegian Fjords and the cherry-blossomed gardens of Japan whilst also embracing our own Irish culture both past and present. Sit back and listen to the heavenly voices and rich harmonies of an ensemble of singers that will equally, soothe the soul and awaken your spirit. Founded in 2018 Suantrai is directed by Sara Clancy, one of the original lead singers with Riverdance – The Show, who later went on to perform on the West End & Broadway.
The group consists of approx 25 singers hailing from Gorey and Arklow and the surrounding areas. The choir have performed both national and internationally to great acclaim. In 2019 Suantrai released their debut album “Suantrai”. Recorded at the Jimi Hemp Recording Studio the album has received wondrous reviews and is available on all streaming platforms from iTunes to Spotify.
