Fringe Music Trail & Concert

Looking for something fun to do this June Bank Holiday weekend ? Look no further 👀
Kicking off on Sunday 4th of June, a very special concert will take place in the spectacular setting of St. Edan’s Cathedral at 7.30pm. The Allabair Trio features Melanie O’Reilly on vocals, David Creevy on guitar and Brewen Favreau on Uillean Pipes/Low Whistle. This concert is the final part of the original song cycle composed by Melanie which comprises new songs inspired by the connection between St. Aidan and St. David. Guest Choir, The Chord on Blues led by Mary Moulds will also perform on the night.
Also on bank holiday Sunday, the local pubs of Ferns will be hopping with trad music and other local performers. From 3pm in the afternoon to late into the evening, Dunbars, Doyles Bar, The Thatch and They Courtyard will host the best of local music to celebrate the ancient links between Ferns and North Pembrokeshire in Wales.
Tickets for the concert in St. Edan’s Cathedral are €12 and are available from fernsvillage.ie. All other events are free. Visit fernsvillage.ie or ancientconnections.org for more information.
