This year, to mark St. Aidan’s Feast Day, we are focusing on the continuity of his legacy. The Ferns Heritage Project group has organised an event on Sunday, 29th January, which will look at the physical structures associated with St. Aidan’s legacy within the village boundary – the seen and unseen legacy of St. Aidan.
Starting at St. Mogue’s Well at 2pm there be a small water ritual to which participants will be invited to join in. Afterwards we will have a walk and talk to include 4 sites associated with St. Aidan.
