All-Ireland Masters Championships 2019 – Gorey Cycling Club
Gorey Cycling Club are delighted to announce that they have been awarded the rights to host the All Ireland Masters Championships.
The Championships will be held in Gorey on Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th of September, for the first time in it’s history.
It is a privilege for Gorey and the surrounding villages for the races to be held here, especially as Gorey celebrates it’s 400th Year Anniversary.
Competitors and spectators will be treated to two days of highly competitive racing in the form of a Time Trial on the Saturday and a Road Race on the Sunday.
Both the Time Trial and Road Race have everything a rider needs as a challenge and we hope all the racers will remember it for years to come.
Proudly supported by Cycling Ireland and Wexford County Council and our local sponsors, we hope that the event will be a huge success and enjoyed by all the competitors and spectators alike.
14th September 2019 – Masters Time Trial
The TT will run on an out and back course from Gorey to Arklow in Wicklow along the old N11.
15th September 2019 – Masters & A3 Road Race
On Sunday the 15th we will have 4 races. The M60s will race 2 laps, M50s will race 3, M40s 4 and the A3s will race 5.
