Gorey Market House Festival over the August Bank Holiday Weekend promises to be the best ever!
It’s going to be a weekend filled with free music concerts from artists including Seo Linn, Paddy Casey and Cry Before Dawn plus an action packed programme of family events.
The first of three open air concerts for the festival gets underway on July 29 with Seo Linn taking to the stage. Saturday, July 30, sees Cry Before Dawn wowing the crowd. And, on Sunday, July 31, Paddy Casey will take to the stage on Gorey’s Main Street.
Loads of family fun, traditional and vintage markets, busking, food and crafts. Saturday boasts an action packed family fun day in Gorey Town Park, street theatre, magicians, stilt walkers, Kia Ora Mini farm, Pirates Cove Train, soccer, tag rugby, arts and crafts, face painting, live music and children’s cartoon characters.
Sunday offers a craft, vintage and artisan food market on Gorey’s Main Street so visitors can enjoy a real market town experience which includes live animals, vintage steam engines and great displays of local craft and food. Visitors can also enjoy art exhibitions at various locations throughout the town.
