Enjoy a visit to Gorey's newest Art Gallery!

With such a strong reputation for art and culture here in North Wexford, we are thrilled to share the news with you that Eoin O’Connor has opened a new larger gallery just doors up from his original gallery on Esmonde St in Gorey.

Eoin O Connor is one of Ireland’s leading contemporary artists and his range includes painting, prints, ceramics and his vividly contrasting palette and striking compositions provide an instantly recognizable style and a must visit when in Gorey!

There’s no nicer way to start a Saturday morning than with a browse around the Gorey Farmer’s Market located at the bottom of Esmonde St in Gorey Community School Car Park.  This market runs weekly on Saturday mornings from 9am to 1:30pm and features so many local producers based in North Wexford and some of the finest food from the region!

The ever increasing range of products include  Fresh Fish, Farm Fresh Fruit & Veg, Bread, Cakes and Preserves, Hot Food Trucks, Seasonal Flowers and in the run up to Christmas who’s knows what might be joining them!

Kia Ora Farm Christmas

Santa returns!

Is it too early to say the “C” word?  We don’t think so!

Avoid disappointment and take some time to book your Santa slot this year at Kia Ora Mini Farm

At the moment the farm is closed as the team prepare for the man in red and creating the most festive of settings!

Bowling at Pirates Cove

If the weather looks a little off or you want to stay indoors why not organise a few friends and  head down to Pirate’s Cove in Courtown and enjoy an afternoon of bowling?

With six high-speed lanes with computerised scoring, adding to the excitement of Ten Pin Bowling at Pirates Cove, this is always a great fun weekend activity!

Lanes can be used by up to six players and you can book your slot online here

We are at that strange time between Halloween & December but the days are crisp so our foodie recommendation this week we hope is a balance of a healthy walk from the village of Kilmuckridge down to the beautiful (& empty!) Morriscastle Beach to enjoy some sea air then back to the village!

The route is approximately 6km in total so you can pop into Kate’s and order one of their legendary Full Irish Breakfasts!  Not for the faint hearted but for the hungry for sure!  Enjoy this weekend treat on Saturday or Sunday morning – you can pre-book a table by calling 087 7062233
