Mid Term Break Activities in North Wexford

After what seemed like the longest January in history February’s midterm break in finally here! (& It’s a good thing!) Here are some options on how to spend time during the break to make sure there are smiles all round!

Wells House and Gardens

Spring is starting to show in the gardens of this award-winning estate so put your wellies in the boot and enjoy the magical fairy walk and sometime in the playground then back to Mrs Stone’s for a hot chocolate and a treat! Kia Ora Mini Farm
Photos of the cutest pygmy goat that is the newest arrival to the Kia Ora Family have been circulating on social media so if you want to see this little cutie for yourself a day at this super mini farm is called for! Pirates Cove
Bowling, arcade machines, crazy golf & hours of fun in the fun caves located in Courtown!  Who wouldn’t love a trip to Pirates Cove over the midterm break! Swashbuckling adventures await your crew!  Find out more

Amber Springs Hotel
The perfect family outing with a delicious lunch in the bar then outdoor playtime in the grounds of the Amber Springs in their playground & animal farm, not to mention some fun rides on their cars! Cahore Cliff Walk
A new addition to North Wexford but so worth a visit! The walks range from 2.8km to 5km where you will see breathtaking views of Cahore point, old stone towers provide the perfect setting for little imaginations to tell stories or pirates and princesses!

Seal Rescue Ireland

Always a hit with children as they get to see first hand the amazing work the team do here at their location in Courtown! Their Visitor Centre contains amazing details of sustainable ideas for your children to implement while outdoors visitors can see the steps to the recovery process for the seals in the care of this great organisation!
