A VERY GOReY HALLOWEEN returns to Gorey and North Wexford for Halloween 2021!
On Saturday 30th October the official launch of the redeveloped Gorey District Park takes place & to celebrate Gorey Kilmuckridge Municipal District have planned a family fun day featuring Children’s Entertainment, Puppet Shows, DJs and much more! The official launch starts at 12pm to 4:30pm and all are welcome!
Meanwhile on Main St the fun continues where we host our annual Fancy Dress Party for the town with businesses adding to the seasonal mayhem of the day!
Throughout the midterm week you can enjoy spooks and scares as we welcome the return of the Monster Mash and a new Horror Trail at the Amber Springs , visit the award-winning Kia-Ora Mini Farm with a spooky feel, the spooktacular Wells House & Gardens host workshops & animal experiences and their woodland trail has a Halloween theme and we host a Drive In Cinema Experience with Halloween favourites like Hocus Pocus and for the very brave The Conjuring on Saturday 30th!

Kia Ora farm turns Spooky Farm

The award-winning Kia Ora Mini Farm takes turns into a Spooky Farm this Halloween where a visit includes meeting their witches, ghosts and ghouls! Enjoy meeting the amazing range of animals and all the fun that a visit to the farm includes but with the most spooktacular Halloween decorations to add to the fun!

Dust off your broomsticks and join us for our Halloween Monster Mash event at the Amber Springs Hotel.
The village comes alive with Frankenstein, ghouls and spooky skeletons AND we encourage all our little Halloween visitors of all ages to come along in their scariest costumes with some ghoulish goodies up for grabs!
Enjoy our wicked, creepy, monsters and scary performers in our Halloween Village, filled with sweet treats and different candies all while solving our mysterious clues to find our spooky Dracula.

Mogue’s Woodland Walk in the Wells estate takes on a Halloween themed this October where you can explore the woodland walk with plenty of spooks and scares for you as part of your visit!

Halloween Fun at Pirates's Cove
This Mid-Term Break Pirate’s Cove in Courtown are offering a mid-week deal of buy one adult adventure golf ticket and you get a child’s ticket for free (25th-29th October, inclusive).
They are also running Bring Your Own Beer Bowling on Friday and Saturday nights between 7-9 pm.

Nutty Scientist Workshops at Wells House and Gardens

BOOOO!! Our little scientists will conduct amazing Halloween Themed experiments, make cool inventions and all while learning about science. Suitable for children from 1st to 6th class. Fully wheelchair accessible venue, located on the grounds of Wells house.

This Mid-Term Break, book your visit for Seal Rescue Ireland’s spooktacular Seal Feed and Enrichment Experience. This 1-hour experience takes place at Seal Rescue Ireland’s Visitor Centre in Courtown, Co. Wexford and costs €20 per participant. You will learn all about the seals of Ireland, meet SRI’s rescue seals up-close and personal, and even have the chance to get your hands on some fish and feed the hungry pups in the pools.

Join famed Seanachaì (traditional storyteller) and real life Celtic Witch, Lorraine, from Gallivanting.ie this Halloween for a selection of special Samhain Events!
Choose from a series of themed evening “Gory Gorey” Walks for all the family, fun foraging and Samhain celebration workshops for the grown ups and even a opportunity to hear some of Ireland’s darkest folk tales seated by candlelight in Goreys oldest graveyard for the really brave!
