Archaeology Made Fun in Ferns - Dig It
Free Dig It Kids workshops in Ferns Community Centre on Sunday next, September 19th. The workshop will comprise Dig it Kids usual magical mixture of fun facts (including Dad’s jokes of course) inventive and satisfying crafts, and engaging stories. They will be looking at St Aidan’s Monastery and learning all about the mysteries of the art of the time. For craft they will be designing Celtic letters.

Enjoy a Wreath Making Workshop
Every Autumn after their harvest Wexford Lavender Farm run workshops for you create your own bespoke wreath for your home using their dried lavender!
These classes are about 2 and a half hours and in them you will make your own floral wreath to take home using dried lavender and flowers, foam backed circular or heart shaped base and floristry sprays.
All classes are COVID compliant and you can book your space for Saturday 18th or Sunday 19th here
Ramble in Ramsfort Woods
You will certainly enjoy the Autumnal tones of nature in Ramsfort Woods during a walk here, this looped walk weaves through Willow Parkand mixed woodland with occasional views of surrounding hills and Ramsfort House. You will also discover how much this woodland means to the local community with fairy door additions by many of the local school! Listen for the resident buzzard as you walk, then enjoy a hearty meal in one of the many close by options in the town of Gorey!
