Gorey Kilmuckridge Municipal District and the Gorey St Patrick’s Day Festival Committee are delighted to announce that the Annual Gorey St. Patrick’s Day Parade will take place at 3.00pm on Sunday 17th March, 2024.
The theme for this year’s festival will be Irish Music Legends and participants will be encouraged to pay tribute to their particular legend. Committee and District Chair Cllr. Pip Breen explained
“Last year we lost some highly regarded Irish musicians such as Christie Dignam, Sinead O’Connor and Shane McGowan. And with Co. Wexford hosting the Fleadh Cheoil and Gorey Hosting the County Fleadh, the Committee are asking people taking part to pay tribute to all the musicians from all genres of music that contribute so much to Irish culture and heritage.”

The Parade will follow its traditional route, marshalling in Creagh before heading towards the Carnew Road, past the monument, through McCurtain Street, Main, Street and Esmonde Street.
