The sandy beach of Cahore South has everything you would want from a day at the beach, a cliff walk from the pier in Cahore leads you to the golden sands of Cahore South. Spend the day at the beach with it’s calm waves and hopefully blue skies. Climb the nuns steps or take the easier route back to the new cliff walk overlooking the sea then enjoy a gastro pub lunch and plan to finish the day spending the evening crab fishing off the pier!  A popular spot with both locals and tourists and once you visit you will understand why!

Nearest walk: its right there!  A new cliff walk has recently opened so enjoy sea views as you walk!

Good to know: Cahore Castle was at one stage a convent and the steps visible on the beach are called the Nuns steps where they came down to the sea to bath!
