Culture Night Gorey 2022

We are absolutely thrilled to see the return of Culture Night to Gorey and what a lineup of events planned for tomorrow night, Friday 23rd September in our town!
Gorey never fails to shine but we want you to help us capture the atmosphere of what #CultureNight is like in Gorey so Gorey Kilmuckridge Municipal District has sponsored a prize of €100 for the winning photo that captures a special moment of tomorrow night – simply tag tomorrow night and we will announce the winner next week!  So while enjoying all there is on offer as part of #culturenight2022 in Gorey and capture the atmosphere of the evening and be in with a chance to win €100 voucher for the best photo! 📸📸

Gorey Library will host Gorey Musical Society for a mixed programme of tunes from the musicals from 4 to 5pm

Enjoy the tunes of Gorey Ukes as they play outside Partridges Bistro from 5.30 to 7.30om on Main St

The Gorey.Pl Polish Cultural Association would like to invite you to the launch of the exhibition in the Market House from 5 to 10pm “A Forgotten Polish Hero of the Great Irish Famine: Paul Strzelecki’s Struggle to Save Thousands” An amazing story about a Pole whose life is intertwined with the history of Ireland.

Gorey.PL will also host a Treasure Hunt throughout the town

Join Caroline Bergin in her studio on Esmonde St for a drop in for all ages art session and get involved in creating a collaborative mural from 6.30 to 9pm

Engage in a mythical voyage of discovery learning about Ireland’s iconic native seal species with a pinch of our marine folklore thrown in from 7 to 8.30pm in Seal Rescue Ireland in Courtown.

CCE Tuasiceart Loch Garman invite you to St Patrick’s Church Craanford for an intimate concert of harp music and song from 8pm

Join traditional singer Rachel Ui Fhaolain and her two children in The Book Cafe from 7.30 to 9pm
