The Gorey Parade commences at 3pm on St Patrick’s Day and all entries into the parade will be staging on the new link road from the Carnew Road, Hollyfort Road and Fort Road. There is no staging on the Enniscorthy Road or at the Monument.

There are no road closures but diversions will be in place whilst the parade is moving down past The Monument, McCurtain Street, Main Street and dispersing after the Review Stand on Esmonde Street. Presentation of prizes takes place immediately after parade on Esmonde Street viewing stand.

We are delighted to welcome back our many sporting groups showing the great range of facilities in Gorey and the surrounding areas. Plenty of local businesses will be represented on the day.

Stewards are needed to help out on the day and please contact us on our Facebook page Gorey St Patrick’s Day Parade or call into Halfords Main Street.

Gorey St. Patrick's Day Parade 2019

Grand Marshal

In this year of Gorey 400. the Naomh Eanna club motto of ‘níl aon cumann mar do chumann fein’ ‘your town your club’ is one of the many reasons the club will be leading the 2019 Gorey St Patrick’s Day Parade.

Naomh Eanna is an important part of the fabric of Gorey and its members, players and volunteers are what makes the club and Gorey great.

In this very successful year where the Senior hurlers won their 1st ever County title in the clubs 49 years. The Intermediate footballers also enjoyed Championship success.
Under 15’s won the historic double-double with hurling and football titles in 2018 & 2017. Under 17 footballers won the clubs first Premier Minor Championship.

Players of all ages, members and plenty of trophies will be leading the Gorey Parade in 2019 and we are delighted to honour them all in this way.
