Old Bawn Beach

Old Bawn Beach

A gem of a beach, Old Bawn stretches from Cahore Point and eventually merges with Morriscastle Strand. You know what that means: miles of sandy beach, ideal for families and those who love walking by the sea.
Unspoiled and picturesque, it’s well sheltered by the sand dunes, which are home to a wide range of wildlife, wetlands, lagoons and grasslands. Ballygarrett is just a few kilometres away and The Strand Bar, Cahore, is even closer for that much-needed cuppa!
